As an English language instructor, I was responsible for planning and teaching classes in general English, IELTS preparation, CAE preparation, EAP, and Business English. I designed and successfully implemented new curricula for the option classes: English and Photography (3 four-week modules), Working Holiday Visa Preparation (1 four-week module), and Success at University (3 four-week modules). I primarily worked with upper-intermediate to advanced students, but also with lower level students in the option classes.

As Personnel Training Specialist, I helped design and operate an English in the Workplace program for both the on-shore staff as well as the catering staff and crew on the vessels. I ran three classes per day, five days a week. I was also on a team that was instrumental in planning and implementing a customer service training program for the catering staff on the ships. This team included the CEO, CFO, head of HR, and Personnel Director.

I was responsible for helping develop and teach a three module, four month technology certificate program for ELSA instructors along with one other instructor.
