Comments from participants and organizers

“Nathan Hall gave a presentation about online teaching resources that really inspired me as a new ESL teacher. His friendly demeanour, his enthusiasm for teaching, and his passion for sharing his knowledge, all made for a presentation that I still remember vividly.” – Lona M.

“Nathan Hall is not only an exceptionally knowledgeable teacher educator but one of the most passionate and energetic teachers and conference presenters I’ve ever met. I’ve had a privilege of presenting a couple of edtech workshops with Nathan, and I catching up with him at conferences is always a highlight.” – Michael B.

“The participants found your workshops useful and particularly mentioned the collaborative nature of the workshops, your excellent resources and materials, your skilled presentation style and your professionalism.

You have been a tremendous inspiration to many of our instructors. Many of the teachers who attended your workshop used their self-directed time to explore some of the sites you recommended and to plan for how to implement some of your ideas.” – Cathy A.

“Most recently, I had the pleasure of attending Nathan Hall’s workshop “Using Cellphones and Tablets in the Classroom” at the 2018 BC TEAL Vancouver Island Regional Conference. His workshop was highly interactive and engaging. Participants were in groups or pairs and had the opportunity to actually experience, first hand, the tools Nathan was presenting. Following the session, he wrapped up with a link to his website showcasing a comprehensive list of the tools and instructions. Nathan’s workshop was enlightening and a highlight of the conference.” Corinne Hamel-Taylor, LINC Instructor, CVIMS
